Hong Kong, 16 November 2015 – Park Island’s favourite casual beachside restaurant Cafe Roma is offering a festive menu inspired by traditional elements and a hint of glam by the kitchen team led by award winning Group Executive Chef Jaakko Sorsa. Admire the winter night skyline with stunning views of Tsing Ma Bridge along Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach, away from the hectic traffic and maddening downtown holiday crowds, whilst celebrating this special time of year with loved ones.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: Traditional and Hearty

This year’s Christmas menu stays traditional and hearty with a choice of three mains – Roasted US Black Angus Sirloin, a fish option Tarragon-Poached Salmon Fillet, and a vegetarian Roasted Pumpkin Risotto. One of two festive starters; silky Celeriac Soup or the creamy smooth Country Pâté, and complete it with a sweet ending with Chef’s specially made Chocolate Bread Pudding. This 3-course Christmas menu is available on 24-25 December from 6pm onwards at HK$338 per person.

New Year’s Eve Menu: A Touch of Luxury

Start the New Year with your best foot forward, send-off 2015 with the 3-course New Year’s Eve menu. Start with a choice of two appetisers from the velvety rich Roasted Chestnut Soup or the light fruity sweet Applewood Smoked Duck Breast Salad. To posh up it all up, the highlighted main course is the Open Lobster Ravioli prepared with fresh imported Atlantic Boston lobsters, or go for the chunky and tender Grilled Australian Lamb Chops with truffle-mashed potatoes, ratatouille and rosemary gravy sauce, whilst vegetarians can opt for the regally presented Artichoke Risotto. Prepare for the countdown by ending the meal by refreshing your palate with the Apricot, Strawberry and Meringue Tart; prepared with fresh strawberries succinctly evoking ones feelings of summer in the middle of winter.
