Press > Cafe Roma Revamps Menu with Winter Flair
 

Hong Kong, 3 January 2013 – Cafe Roma introduces its seasonal menu update for the winter. Led by the celebrity chef Jaakko Sorsa of FINDS, the kitchen team has whipped up a number of satisfying dishes to fill your appetite on those cold winter days.

Highlights of the new winter menu include a Hearty Soup made from fresh beef, vegetables, and pasta served with garlic bread; braised Australian Lamb Shank slowly cooked for 6 hours, and Meatball & Sausage Ragout Rigatoni featuring a special meatball recipe that belongs to Jaakko’s Grandmother Ida. Guests won’t want to miss the Warm Chocolate Cake either, served with vanilla ice cream that goes perfectly with the gooey heart-melting chocolate that oozes out from within the soft centre of the cake.

For those who would prefer to keep their meals light, more refreshing options are also available, such as the Pan-fried Silver Cod Fillet served with fingerling potatoes, rocket, and fresh lemon wedge, and fresh Apple-Avocado-Camembert Salad sprinkled with toasted almonds and lemon-basil vinaigrette. A new pizza called Bianca is also introduced to the menu, featuring ricotta and Grana Padano cheese on a crispy crust with roasted garlic oil, rosemary and rocket.
