Cafe Roma, Ma Wan’s all-time favourite beachside restaurant, will host an array of captivating activities and dining offers throughout the summer that will delight both kids and parents.

Children will have the opportunity to become little chefs at Cafe Roma’s Kids’ Pizza Workshop where they can design and create their own pizzas. The workshop lets children interact with the chefs as they learn to recognise different colours, shapes and ingredients to craft a delicious pizza, all while having loads of fun.

Ma Wan is an ideal destination for a family outing in Hong Kong. Group Executive Chef Jaakko Sorsa from Finland has specially prepared a healthy children’s menu, and Cafe Roma also offers a variety of beach toys and facilities, making it possible for families to enjoy a hassle-free seaside daytrip without planning and packing in advance.

Kids’ Pizza Workshop
Cafe Roma’s Kids’ Pizza Workshop lets children realise a dream of becoming a chef, complete with their personal chef hats and aprons. Cooking is learning, too! Children can experience the whole process of pizza preparation, from training their fine motor skills and strength through kneading the pizza dough to encountering different ingredients and recognising colours and shapes. Upon completing their first pizza course, each child will be presented with a certificate. Participating families can also enjoy a 20% discount on all their consumption on the same day at the restaurant.

Price: HK$320 per child

Healthy Kids’ Menu
As a renowned kids-friendly restaurant, Cafe Roma presents a rich array of mouthwatering healthy food for kids. Finnish Group Executive Chef Jaakko Sorsa pays attention to every detail in his cooking. MSG is never added and even the tomato dip is homemade. The healthy Kids’ Menu includes Healthy Vegetable Mix – cauliflower, French beans, zucchini, golden beetroot & Roma’s tomato dip (HK$68), Porcini Mushroom Risotto (HK$68), Spaghetti Bolognese (HK$68) and Pizza (starts at HK$68). Adopting an uncompromising position on food quality, Chef Jaakko chooses all-natural chicken from Denmark for the restaurant’s signature dish Roasted 100% All-Natural Danish Chicken (half HK$198 / whole HK$378) – a highly delicious and nutritious treat for the whole family.

The popular Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach is just a stone’s throw away from Cafe Roma. The restaurant boasts an excellent range of beach toys, which are complimentary to use for all customers. Families will thus enjoy a hassle-free beach trip, without buying and carrying their own equipment to the beach. In addition, the restaurant offers a collection of Chinese and English-language children’s books to keep little ones entertained when dining with their parents.

One Day Tour of Ma Wan
Only 15 minutes by bus from Tsuen Wan, Ma Wan island offers a charming environment with fresh air.
